Roger Sharp’s journey began in his 20s when he immersed himself in the music industry. Along the way, he seized an opportunity to rapidly advance his fledgling business. Despite encountering a legal setback due to youthful enthusiasm, Roger has since transformed these challenges into triumphs, and was able to obtain a provisional Conditional Adult-Use Retail Dispensaries (CAURD) license.
In 2011, Roger’s vision expanded with the addition of his wife, Christine, to the team. Together, they have propelled their production business, High Peaks Event Production, to unprecedented success. With an impressive local clientele including Skidmore College, Proctors, The Palace Theater, SPAC and various municipalities, the company has also made a significant impact nationally and internationally. Events like the FISU World Games in Lake Placid and the Summer Concert Series at the Empire State Plaza stand as testaments to their achievements. Roger’s journey from adversity to success showcases his steadfast dedication and relentless efforts in creating one of the largest event production companies in the capital district.
Guided by their steadfast belief in the benefits of cannabis, Roger and Christine are now pursuing the coveted CAURD license. Their goal is to establish an upscale dispensary tailored to the discerning needs of a sophisticated cannabis market. Their mission is clear: to champion local farmers who cultivate cannabis using sustainable, chemical-free methods, thereby promoting ethical practices within the industry.
As longtime residents of Saratoga for nearly 20 years, Roger and Christine are deeply rooted in the community and will be continuing their journey in the heart of Downtown Saratoga. They understand the significance of empowering their customers and are committed to curating a highly knowledgeable staff. This exceptional team will not only offer guidance and education to newcomers to the world of cannabis but also provide the expertise sought after by experienced consumers.
